My New Cichlid Tank

here are a few pics of my newly set up tank and some of its stock.
total stocking is -

1 x oscar
1 x gold severum
1 x black ghost knifefish
1 x rotkeil severum
1 x diadema acara
1 x L190 royal panaque pleco
1 x jaguar catfish

having never even heard of a diadema before i am so glad i stumbled accross it. it seems very chilled and is no problem at all with the others, if anything its one of the more skittish at the minute.
i know i paid well over the odds for the oscar and could have got one free or for a few quid but he is a beauty and perfect with no scars, hith, fin damage etc etc. ive not seen such a good condition oscar before especially at this size.
the gold severum was purely an impulse buy as my local maidenhead said i could have it for £10. i only went there for a new filter hose.......
the rotkeil is the most skittish of the group but he is the smallest of them all so understandable i guess. my BGK, L190 and jaguar catfish all share a den under several pieces of bogwood so i dont see them much yet. i have sourced another jaguar catfish locally that i am collecting next saturday to hopefully bring them out a bit more as they are so beautifull its a shame you dont see them.....
