My New Bettas

Very pretty, Is it just me or does anyone else think they could see each other and hurt themselves attempting to attack the other through the glass? Maybe just the blue agressive guy even?

it's been mentioned earlier in the thread, though i've found that with time the bettas learn that they can't get to the fish on the other side, and it can't get to them, and they eventually ignore each other. In fact, this worked so well that when one of my most aggressive fish found a way into his neighbor's tank space, they swam around like nothing was amiss. But show either of them to a fish that they had never seen before (thorugh glass, or a mirror, of course) and it was all out war.

how meny gallons is the tank

it is a 2.5 gallon tank do you guys think this is to small for 2 betta fish if not would it be to small for 3 betta fish. The tank had dividers for three fish.

well most say 1 gal is the bare minimum for a single betta, so with having 2 you are just above that i wouldn't get a 3rd one

I think it would be more beneficial if you were to get a 5 gal and split that. 1.25 gal is not enough room in my opinion...


On the other hand, that tank looks alot bigger than 2.5 gal...

ok ill pick up another tank or bowl when i get my female. I just did the mod for my fish tank and also added another plant which my bettas love my red one loves to swim threw it while my blue betta likes to sleep behind it. Also which it better artificial or real or is it just personal reference? here are some pics of the mod and new plant.
