(click on pic and will open a link to larger size) Here is a picture of my new and first betta! I am not sure which kind? can anyone identify? My nephew named him 'Rudy' (from ice age lol)

He is in a 35 litre heated and filtered tank with lots of live plants :)

I will take more pics tomorrow (as i dont want to switch the tank light on to stress him) just gonna let him settle in and will upload more pics of 'Rudy' and a full tank pic as well :)

He sure is a lovely fish and from what I can see a nice tank too. From the picture, he looks to me like a vieltail or halfmoon, I can't quite tell.

You can use some media from the tank you already have.. that will speed up the process very quickly.. :)

What a great fish!

The colours blending just looks fantastic I always find.

I think I'm goin to get a Betta when my tank has been cycled
