I think all other mid ground and background plants will arrive tomorrow so stay tuned! (Where ta hell can i get some large placs none of my LFS sell them and ordering takes over 2 weeks)

Quite possibly a bacterial bloom. Check out BTT's thread on it.

Thanks, after all it wasnt bacterial bloom, ive done 40% water change and switched my UV on for all night and the water seems to be getting better.

Also got today some acrylic 4mm cover for the tank coz the amount of dust over the whole day was amazing.

Still looking good. We always mention how black substrate brings out the colors in fish but it also makes the plant colors so much more vivid.

Plants arrived and i have done some small changes moving things around for nicer aquascape, for the moment im using my temporary DIY co2 and small pump 350 liters p/h as difuser and it seem in under 12 hours with temporary co2 it cleared my water right up from beeing milky.

Hope you like it dont even know what this aquascaping looks like as i know you usually have different names for it like jungle, north american, europian and so on. Am im waiting for my CO2 system to arrive from germany (as DIY using extingusher lookd dengerous especially with 9 month old kid crooling around the house) can some one please suggest and help with wnat presure to set up for 260 liters (with gravel, plants and wood its about 210-220 liters), at the moment i have 2x 24W T5's - is this enough for planted tank? and i have it on for 10-11 hours a day with UV (dont know after using plant fertilizer will UV take out any of beneficial stuff from tank?)

Sorry for so many question as i dont want to get it wrong.

Thanks again to all for help time and unbeliveble support!

Love that tank. Wish they carried ones like that around here.

You really do have a great eye for placement.

Here ive just bought 2 Blue Snake skin Discus one of them has nice black stripes going down. Do i really need to get Revers Osmosis to get RO Water?

Wow, your tank looks really nice!

Can't wait to see it when the plants have grown in nice and lush!

Well done!

The black stripes are called stress bars. Discus are fish with special needs and should really be researched before being purchased. You should really start doing some reading about them ASAP, you will find you've already made some mistakes.

Well then i guess as i have just purchased them during transportation fish ware stressed (not to mention your avatar has discus with stripes lol) My tank- PH: 7.2, Water changes 2ce a week, Temp: 28* C, Food: Discus Frozen food and live brine shrimps only, some times blood worms. As i know that they need slightly acidic between 5.5 and 6.5 but was told that they will addapt to to my ph no problem. The GH is about 6-7 Degrees so i guess i dont have to get Reverse Osmosis filter for RO Water as its needed only if your GH8 and Higher.

Sorry also Jim if you say i already made some mistakes wont it be easier to point them out isnt this the forum for newbies, no point to ppl like me saying ha-ha you done big mistakes ill just watch your fish strugle and die and then ill tell you what it is. I dont get what is the point bothering reply then?
No offence Jim i just thought if you noticed something wrong let me know (im not the only one reading this thread)

Cheers,
Sergey

Tank looks very nice, about the stress bars I don't know much about them mine don't have any at all, I just go by there signs, all mine have tell tail signs when issues of water quality etc are effected.
Examply my blue dimond don't show bars, it turns black when ammo is present and can be even .5 ammo for it to do it. My Red Tourq dn't get bars it just fades in colour when stressed, and pigon blood turns pure white when stressed. As far as stress bars goes I don't remember the information about them to help you out, I don't need to remember this for mine but you can go to google and type in stress bars on discuss and see what you can find.
My 2 cents just monitor them and see what happens I already see when they are stressed one of them fades in colour and the other loses colours from the help you asked for in emergancies. Secret is pretty much just keeping really good water quality the rest comes pretty easy.

P.S. want to see a High tech planted Discuss tank check out my 55gal in my signature enjoy

Those aren't necessarily stress bars. The bars can mean many things - some breed of discus have them all the time - i.e. any Leopard breed.

My discus has these bars...
