Now thats a tank! Looks awesome. What fish are you planning on putting in there?

Are those real or fake plants? I like how you set them up.

Thanx!

All the plants are real. Took them out my 2 smaller tanks im not using anymore.

so far ive got

2 Angel Fish
2 Sailfin Rams
1 Plec
6 Neon Tetras
4 Black Neon Tetras (altho i thought they where called white cloud minnows or sumfin)
6 Glowlight Tetras
1 Guppy (and 4 babys all at different stages of growth)
4 plattys (and 2 babys)

oh and 2 aquatic frogs.

So im on my way but i want to add a few more tetras cos i love it when they shoal (dnt kno if i spell that rite).

and then some what i call feature fish. Basically things like my angel and rams.

open to suggestions there tho!

i was thinkin gouramis for starters????

oh and im getting another 4ft tank for xmas :D

think im puttin malawi cichlids in that. either that or an oscar.

Nice tank, but incase you didn't know, the plants with the green and white leaves aren't proper aquatic plants, and will die and rot eventually in there.

Looking good. One problem though, those plants in the middle (i forget the name) are not true aquatic plants. They are bog plants which are commonly sold as house plants for the humid conservatory. They certainly don't do well in an aquarium and will likely turn to mush over time, which you DONT want happening in your tank if you can help it.

I hope you have great plans for the tank! I think you should get at least 12 more of your neons and 12 more black neons. Large shoals of neon look great in a smaller tank, especially if there are slightly larger fish to keep them on their toes and still shoaling.

Ben

I think I've got the plant in the middle, its been in my tank for a month or two, but no probs so far (?), oh well could always put it in the conservatory ^^

tanks looks really great :)

thanx guys :D

thanx for the tip ill keep a close eye on it!!

ive had it in my smaller aquarium tho and it seems ok so far.

i bought 10 more neons yesterday and the shoal of 16 does look really cool swimming round.

also bought a pair of dwarf neon gouramis and 2 other gouramis, red in colour and really annoyingly i cant remember the name of em

gonna get some clown loaches today i think.

love stocking a new tank and i get to do it all over again at xmas with my new 4 footer :D :D :D

EDIT - didnt get the clown loaches yet. Bought 2 silver sharks and 3 red tail black sharks.

Personally I would move those two heaters and put one either end, it will keep the water temperature more stable and eliminate a hotspot at the right end.

:X i dno about anyone else but i wouldnt keep 3 RTBS in any size tank (unless it was like a million gallon) as i heard they are agressive to anything that resembles them. Also you got a load of silver sharks. Just kinda worried lol

Soz if im tottally wrong lol :D
