So my 60lt tank I have Ben waiting for has finally arrived. I have put all the ornaments that I have so far in it but am eating for a couple more. I have got 10 cherry shrimps coming tomorrow and 3 tiger shrimps the day after. Hopefully the tank will be full off baby shrimps next month. In the pictures there is a big gap that needs to be filled. I am waiting for a log to arrive that rests against the back off the tank. Let me know what you think and any advise is appreciated View attachment 76498View attachment 76498

No pictures I'm afraid. Have you cycled the tank, Alex? It sounds like maybe you haven't and altho shrimp have a low bioload they also have a low tolerance to ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels.
If you can - defer getting the shrimps until it is cycled. If you can't, get some Tetra Safe Start and dump it in there fast otherwise you'll be losing shrimp rather than expanding your colony. You'll need at least 50ml for your tank size.
Have you got a filter, heater etc? Might be a good idea to research shrimp care - there's a section on here for Shrimps and other invertebrates.
Read this article as soon as you can: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/261585-shrimp-care-guide/
