my gibby looked nothing like the bottom picture, was just like the top untill it matured a little.

How is that possible if the colours are inverted?
L001 has a dark body with light spots
L083 Gibby has light body with dark spots

They don't suddenly invert colours once mature.

Really very distinguishable. There's no doubt that tibby25731's fish is an L001
£4 is about right I'd say

Thanks! Yeah I am pretty sure he's a gold spot, have been looking on Planet Catfish and the pics there are very similar - and he has a dark body with yellow spots. So, what sort of size will he grow to? Same as a common, less, or more??
