It still needs a lot more coral but being 16 with an allowance of $12 a week, it takes a while LOL.

Looking good mate. How do you find feeding the sun corals? Also how is the puffer in the reef?

The large sun coral was my fisrt coral, i wnated to be sure I would be able to keep corals and keep up with their demands, so chose a fairly time consuming coral. But really there really easy to care for. I admit it was really irritating when the coral was on the floor of my two foot tall tank, but its much better now I've moved it to the nano. I feed a cube of food every day and just spray the food over the polyps, making sure everything gets a good coating, takes maybe 3 minutes to feed em, and any left over food is quickly consumed by the puffer.

I wouldn't call Hamlet reef safe, he makes his own decisions about what he'll allow me to put in the tank and what he won't. and all small frags have to be glued down or he'll move them around the tank constantly, he does mange to leave them right side up though, which I guess I should be thankful for. He doesn't like large fleshy corals and I've got a brain healing in quarantine about to go back to the store after he decided to tear strips off of it. He also kills snails and crabs, he'll be after them literally half a second after I drop them in. But he's also a real pet so I just put up with his idiosyncrasies though i was really considering taking him back to the LFS when I came out one day to find that all the macro I'd be carefully cultivating had been 'pruned' and chewed to shreds, but oh well at least he's getting his greens LOL. He does need entertainment though but its not hard, he has a pile of small pieces of rubble he moves around the tank continually, not quite sure why but he seems entertained and I'll also hide his food in shells so he has to work hard to get it out, which helps keep his teeth ground down and stops him doing too mush harm to the tank.

Bought some new corals today, in the pics they ahven't fully expanded yet...
