My mom's new 46g Bowfront

here it is, up and running, we're gonna get more fake plants too

she wants clown loaches, neon tetra, and guppies; what else could go with them? I was recomended 4-5 clown loaches, 7-9 neon tetra, and some guppies(all one gender) anything else, comments?

dont get the clowns they will eventually outgrow that tank hugly

Clown loaches might get too big for a 46 - have her check out YoYo loaches instead. Same funny loach behaviors, but a much smaller fish.

you can get clowns, they grow so incredibly slow that you won't have to worry for years. I think the growth rate is about 1/2" a year.

it's not the loach part of clown laches she wants, she really like the color, plus she likes small fish, so when I told her that they can get pretty big, sh kinda rethought it a little

i told my mo that we could do cichlids and Angelfish, but she doesn't want cichlids anymore, she used to love them like "OOOOOOoOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH that's a pretty fish, can I get one for a 46 gallon tank i'm thinging about?" but now when i say we could get cichlids she says "no, I don't want cichlids"

Thats a nice looking tank danio now that it's all set up and filled, why not get some cory's or some smaller plecs for it?

NEONS! cant go wrong with neons and other assorted tetras. Get like 6 neons, 4 black skirts, and some cory

I find neon tetras boring and weak, just my opinion. But i suggest black skirts they are quite cool. Mine always hide in the bottom left corner of the tank. They dont exactly hide they just swim in their place, looking out of the aquarium. Strange...
