You can fit a breeding pair of kribs in a 15 easily but I wouldn't mix Afircan and NW cichlids ...... some bottom feeders are nice ...neons for the top and something for the mid no clown loaches .... "1/2 an inch a year" I have seen groups of 4" loaches in my lfs ..... 8 yr. old fish .....no way sorry ...... they do grow slow but not that slow ... will easily outgrow your tank ...... I have heard of them getting 7 inches !! 14 yr. old fish ?LOL

I would go down to around three clowns and 25 or so neons......a large group of neons look great as the focal point of a tank.
