Very nice!
I love the blue and yellow colours of the fish.
The use of lava rock works to great effect too.

WOW i really a nice tank. I liked also the blue ones they are looking gr8. stunning tank.

Nice to see something different to tuffa/ocean rock in a cichlid tank :good:

Wow!!

Are the Yellow Labs. hard to keep?? I got a fair bit of info. on them off my Lfs and I'd like to know from first-hand keeper if possible???

Very nice!! Did you also put a pic on African cichlid section? Where they have the spot at the top for members tanks? If not, you should. It's really good!

Yellow Labs aren't that difficult to keep at all. I think they are one of the less agressive mbunas also. You need to add lots of rocks and holes/caves that they can pass through, so that they feel more comfortable. THeir water needs to be harder and their pH needs to be a little higher, probably around 7.8 - 8.2 --- I add a tiny bit epsom salt and baking soda every water change to change pH and hardness. I feed them spiriluna/veggie flakes, and sometimes give them thawed frozen peas, carrots, or zucchini.

good luck! :good:

Yellow labs are probably the easist mbuna to keep, they are quite peaceful (for mbuna that is), and multiple males can be kept together with minimal aggression. Like all mbuna they should be kept in a 4-ft minimum tank, I've kept them for 3 years now and find them to be a wonderful addition. :good:
