Hi Guys,

Over the last week or so my Male Gourami has decided to occupy one side of the tank and is found either at the top or the bottom corner??? I have a Fluval 3 internal filter in there which is also on that side of the tank (so the corner he is in has very little flow). I know it doesn't sound that odd but he is pretty much stationary (until disturbed by me or feeding time). He has a female in there with him which he has got on amicably with over the last 6 months but he now appears to be getting chased by her!?!?!? Both fish seem to have put on weight and the male I am concerned about is also really stocky and looks a bit of a brute of late.
My water stats are perfect and temperature is right, heavily planted tank with loads of hiding places. One thing I have noticed though is he poo's alot and it is generally white in colour?

any ideas what his issue might be? I have put peas in the tank as all my fish have been eating alot of bloodworm as I have introduces 3 ADFs in the last couple of weeks so thought he may be a bit constipated?

Thanks

My powder blue dwarf gouramis would often stay near the back by the filter, blowing bubbles. They probably just feel safe there, but if they seem to have trouble going down, there might be a problem with his swim bladder so you could feed him a de-shelled pea.

good luck.
