Well done....that looks great. He won't know himself :good: Don't forget a pic when he's in there.

aww thats great! he's gonna love it in there, king of his own personal tank :good:

:) i hope so

its 14inches by 8inches by 8inches

whats the capacity in gallons or litres?

the pump is a little fast flowing considering its small but he'll get used to it :good:

15 liters :) approx 4 gallons

looks very nice for him, have u removed the white sponge stuff from in the plant basket?

:)

I should think he will like it...spoilt boy. Let me know how he gets on with the filter I have never had a betta that likes them... :good:

well hes been in my 35litre with an external fluval 105 running, which is at a nice flow and he was ok with that:)

so hopefully hes ok with the internal fluval 1 i have running

if not i'll just take it out :good:

should i put anything else (plant or ornament) with him

Good for you Phoenix! I'm so glad you get to keep him. :good:
If the filter is too strong for him, you can try positioning the nozzle so it hits the back of the tank. Failing that, just use an ornament placed in front of the filter to help stem the flow.

ive positioned it so it hits the heater, seems to have slowed it a little

hes still asleep on his plant, lazy sod lol

some gravel might do the trick if you wanted, i find it always adds a little colour and depth to a tank

Looks very cosy!

I have a fluval 1 running in my betta tank, if you are worried about the flow you can slice up a small water bottle and slot that over the outflow quite easily. Melt the edges with a lighter just in case of any sharp bits.

I agree with JellyP13, gravel would make it look a bit prettier and he might feel a bit more relaxed.

because the filter is small and the tank is too, its going to get dirtier quicker, hence y ive not put gravel in

but if u guys think i should then i'll add some black sand :good:
