My Little Road Trip

hey guys.

decided to get out of the city and into the wild(?) on my day off.

I decided to pull off the major road, and head towards a river that runs through 4 states and ends up into the sea.

While i was pulling up next to the river, i thought it would be a perfect time to bring out he camera, and have a look at some of the shots. I was actually amazed when i saw them... but yeah.

the first one is of a Koala... It is one of Australia's native animals, kind of like a miniature bear possibly. court him having a bit of a snooze in a tree near the water.

the temps have come down, however it is freaky as i drove through one of the towns that was completely destroyed. It alone had somewhere around 450 homes that were destroyed. The sad fact of the matter is that around 65 people have died in the blazes around the state. We are now in a state of emergency as over 150 000 people have either been displaced and or are now homeless.

It is not good... and the wind is picking up again...

Yeah i see in Queensland you have major flooding too-thats just nuts!!!
