Two and a half months...
pico.jpg

I still haven't added much at all, just a few zoanthids, all of which are budding off little polyps so they're doing well. I have one orange that started as a free roaming individual, it has blossomed into a cluster of six in just over a month. We leave for vacation in three weeks, after which I plan on buying something nice and pricey, just not sure what! Probably zoanthids :zz

I was way off on how long this tank's been set up, I thought it was now three months and it's actually four. Time

Anyway, 4 months. My zoanthids are doing quite well. Those along the back wall have attached to the foam :good:

A friend brought me a frag of green star polyp (left bottom), which I love and want more of. I'm thinking of taking out the two middle rocks/skeletons and getting something different. Not sure what though... or when.

And my lil hermit crab who has been in there from the beginning <3

Wow it's come on beautifully in the past few weeks. Looking great ! :good:

Indeed! I felt sort of sorry for him a couple weeks ago, and threw in one of the smallest hermits from my 100g. They didn't even find each other for a couple of days but now they're buddies, you can always find the other nearby. They're interesting though- always exploring! I plan to get some sort of shrimp this week- or next.

Thanks guys, it's still very young. But finally over that red slimey algae everywhere

What a lovely jewel of a tank, so tiny and colorful! Brilliant really. :good: Can't wait to see pictures when the shrimps come in. It looks much bigger than it is. WOW!

llj :D

Thanks you two. I took out those two middles rocks, and did some slight rearranging. I like it better yet I'm not sure if I like it as well, if that makes sense. I do have room to add now though -_- And I can clean the side glass better which was priority number one. It's such a tiny tank that missing even two inches of action is really missing a lot!

miagi, I'll take some pics of my 100g as soon as I get new batteries. I wore mine out and getting a nice shot of the big tank is challenging. It's nothing to write home about yet, that's for sure. Just a 100g with 50 watts of actinic light, 4 damsels and 90lbs of rock. I was looking at firefish (?) the other day :hey: But I shall hold off until I get another 50 pounds of rock, and rid of 3 damsels.

oh, and, I love that red algae, tooo! I just had to have it. I'm back to planning on dwarf seahorses again, someday. Could be as far off as a year or more though. I thought it to be quite sad that I went to the lfs with full intention of buying a gorgeous coral- and came out with a bag of expensive seaweed  Me.

Dwarf Seahorses are the best! I just bought a 4 gallon set up for them. I need to get a copepod culture going plus I need to hatch BBS which I am not looking forward too :X

True that, it's a pain, but I hatch bbs everyday anyway, so that works out. For me :p
