Hey, just looking got a little information if willing :)

My jewel lighting units just killed over, keeps shorting out and im sure it's dry.
It runs at 45wX2 divide by 35g T5

Now I really like over tank lights by Arcadia but sadly the only one fitting that's not to pricey is 39wX2 T5
I'm wondering should I be concerned with the lighting power drop I know it's not much, I'm injecting co2 and my tanks only just got stable so need a unit fast.

Also I am really getting an eye for LED but can't find any real decanter information on a complete kit or how good and what to get

Tank is 1000mm and running (was) 2.3wpg rough guess

Thanks for any help

the 2x39W t5 will be fine. Grab a cheaper luminare from here.

In the drop down, select the 100cm.
I'd wait for LEDs to come down in price. If it was the TMC Aquarays you were after then you'd have to look at their bracket systems to place over the tank. I don't know if the Juwel's t5 lamp holders are different than others, but TMC do offer this attachment. http://www.charterhouse-aquatics.co.uk/catalog/tmc-aquaray-mms-end-caps-p-2955.html

Do led really cut the chase?

The over tank you linked me what manufacture is that, don't see it on the site.. Hayes is around the corner from me so I could just go grab it

Are they good? Yes, they are. They're as powerful as t5s. The tiles are like Halides. The Aquarays are a little short for long tanks though.
Are they worth the extra money? In my opinion, no. Not yet they aren't.
