They just ignore each other most of the time, and occaisionally the male chases the female away. :( Is there any chance they will pair up or is it just not meant to be? I wanted baby kribs! :(
Thanks

Welcome to the forum Skeuer.
I am going to move your post to the African cichlid section. Although I have some limited experience with kribs, the members there are more likely to be able to help you.

Mine didnt appear to like each other but then I found I had a babies. It takes time, if your having them to breed your meant to put like 6 fish into a large tank and let them pair off naturally. Then remove each pair. You just have to be patient with them, theirs not alot you can do but make sure they have a nice clean tank with the right type of environment in. If your wanting them to breed make sure you have some wood in their preferable a wooden cave that they can breed onto. All fish are different and mine lived in a coconut shell with moss on top, they wud pull the moss off and make there own 'nest'.

Hey there, thanks for the help!
Theyre not nessecarily for breeding, although if they did that would be great! I may have to invest in a coconut then, and maybe some moss too. One quick question, my substrate is gravel, i heard they prefer sand to burrow in, will this be a problem?

And thankyou Oldman :)
