I've just recently took the step from all the fake stuff to real wood, plants etc. I think I've done a pretty good job for a beginner planted haha. It's specifically a cichlid tank, but there's a few oddies mixed with them. Still getting used to this new camera, so the lighting is a bit off - really need to sort that. And the water is yes, still a bit cloudly after a sand change :) Will try and get photos of all the fish in there, as soon as I go near the tank they use the plants as their supposed to and shoot into the back LOL.

Will try and get more, hopefully clearer shot. The water is a lot less cloudy this morning than it was last night :good:
Oh, and the two female bettas in there on the top pic are just temporary residents ;)
 
Blyxa's looking good! Always had a soft spot for rams, such amazing looking fish! Reckon they would make short work of my shrimp colony though...
 
Not bad. The one on the far right of the second pic is a non aquaric though and will rot and foul the water.
