My Handsome Boy

This is my "walmart-special" as my friend and I say. He is a VT, but I had never seen anyone like him except for in expensive breeder stock. His name is Fariet. Quick questions: what do you call his color? Does anyone have a pic of the female equivalent? How do I add more than one pic? Thanks all!

Thanks all. He is quite the handsome boy! When I found him, I didn't have the tank set up or anything (I was still recovering from my loss of my last betta ) But I knew he was special so I had to have him. I still have never seen one like him in the stores. I would love to get him a girlfriend who looks like him. What beautiful babes they would have!

I found one who looks almost exactly like him at my LWM. Except my guys fins have a slight orangish hue to them. Still clear, but orangish, and the body is a little darker orange.

Don't breed Veils..just be happy with him as a pet.

He is very lovely, and although more lovely like him would be nice..there is a slim chance out of about 500 you'd end up with another like him...Veils have such mixed color pedigree's..it's like a shot in the dark.

Aw, bummer. I still would love to have a girl that matches him. I have some attachment to the female bettas...maybe it's because lots of people think they're ugly. Thanks for all the compliments.
