My Guppy Is Having Fry

1 of my guppies is having its fry. I have 2 males in the same tank which I have just placed them both in a mini float as they where both harrasing the female thats having the fry. They have also eaten 4 -5 fry between them. Will it be ok to keep the males in there for a while so the female can go about her bussiness??? I had the female in there but the fry end up swimming out of the box and the males ate them. Thats why the male are in there now.

Would be better if you found a way too keep the Fry in the Fry box your on about. If not go and buy another one that doesent have holes too big.

That way you can keep the fry in there and the fish in the tank

I`ve taken the males out and I`ll just let nature take its course. If some survive then great. If not, i`m sure there will be more as there are more pregnant females in the tank already.

The males could safely spend several days in the trap if needed but you will do better having a fry tank that can hold at least 35 litres for fry to live in. I use a 10 US gallon tank for new fry and still must move them to larger quarters after the first couple of months to avoid overcrowding in that tiny tank.
