lol i am getting a blue one once the new tank is ready, i will transfer these 3 to the tank, along with the new guy i just caught in the lake behind my house seems to be a Phalloceros caudimaculatus (leopard fish) here is a pic of him. i caught him after catching a female while getting my starter fish (i have used these fish before to start aquariums, but i hadent seen the spotted ones and just caught some of the silver ones that went back to the lake once the tank was cycled , but the leopard ones are cool looking and they will get along with the guppys)

just caught one, so i guess i will have the silver one, the red/orange one/ the yellow leopard, the white and black spotted and a blue one :)

Your yellow looks like mine and mine is a pure bred yellow tail mosaic guppy.

That's chester, his body is kinda silverish yellown with the leopard dots, its hard to get a good pic of him cause he is allways moving

Yeah that's what mine looks like by the sound of it. Mine also has the same tail.

love your guppies, esspecially the red and spotted one!
where did you buy them from?

lets see in order of appearance

Coors- hes the silver looking one witht the red dots , looks like he has some wild guppy still in him, got him at petsmart
Tony - hes the orange/red one with the white tiger stripped belly, petsmart
Chester - hes the yellow leopard, got him at petsmart too

Pongo - the white and black spotted one, is a wild gambusia i caught in the lake behind my house

Was just gonna say that he's a Gambusia holbrooki or mosquito fish.
These can get quite nasty to guppies and esp the females can shred the fins if their in the mood for what ever reason.

ive been reading up on this, and yeah i know they can be aggressive, im setting up a male only tank, they are pretty and i wont have to deal with babys, my 3 males that i have right now get along great, the hang out a lot together, pongo will most likely be going back to the lake once the tank is cycled.

i got my guppies at petsmart, i havent been happy with the guppyes they have lately they look weak, but im thinking that those guppys come from the same breeder and should be nice and friendly like mine, but there are some really cool dark blue almost black with a white face guppies ive seen at walmart of all places that i want to get.
