So i bought a dwarf honey gourami a few weeks ago and it soon after died... and i have absolutely no idea why or how.
I really wanted to get more of them but now am kind of scared to.
I didn't overfeed it; that i'm sure of. Also it had definitely finished cycling. GH around 50-60ppm, KH around 50-70ppm, pH 7, nitrite at zero, nitrate around 10ppm, temperature around 26 degrees celcius
As far as i know that's not an unhealthy range?
It wasn't bullied at all, didn't have any flesh wounds, it simply started moving a little slower and then i found it upside-down at the bottom of the fish tank... which is another thing, i thought they floated when they died?
Anyway please tell me if i did anything wrong!
[edit] Just in case it helps at all. I fed it normal tropical flakes as well as frozen blood worms every couple of days. It seemed interested in the food but didn't really rush to get at it. It seems like it just couldn't catch them fast enough or something.
