I just posted a message about 3 hours ago and got really great help from a bunch of people. Well, since then, I have had one fry die. When they were born, I noticed another molly gave birth outside the hatchery, I managed to save 4 fry. I put them in with the newborn batch. Also, I have noticed that these 4 fry are a lot bigger than the ones that were originally in the hatchery. Whenever a fry dies, these 4 seem to be the first to start eating it, could they be the cause to all of the fry dying?

Even the big juvenile fry try to eat the newborn fry. That's probably the cause. When my guppy dropped, the older fry that I had in there ate a few, so it's definitely possible.

hiya, sorry 2 hear that ur not having much luck with ur fry.

i wud say that the fry that were born in the main tank are more used 2 living in a dog eat dog world (or sud that be fish eat fish world ?) as they obviously watched the other fish eat their lil brothers n sisters.

u mite just find that they fry frm the main tank cud be a few days older ? im not sure. but if u think u saw them being born in the main tank i cud be wrong. its just i found 1 single fry that had 2 have been at least 3 days old in the bottom of my tank ALIVE!

i hope this helps ?

Gud luck with keepin them alive!
