You added aquarium salt right? not table salt lol..

you dont need a heater in the bbs jug either

in the bottle, was the eggs like a brown color?

dont put loads in the jug, just about ermmmm 1/4 of a teaspoon.

Dont use to many when trying your first hatch, after 24 hours, check with a light to see if they have hacthed, they are tiny so look closely lol...

If they have pour them in to a tub as i said b4 and let them settle, then shrynge them out and feed to fry..

clean the jug and start another lot off

Your fry may be dying simply cos they are weak hun, i wouldnt worry to much if all your water stats are good.

yes they were brown, by waterlife called-ARTEMIA SHELLESS decapsulated brine shrimp eggs

i put 1ml in a about 4 pints, thats good about the heater as its the one from the labour ward (lol) tank

yeah think they may be weak ones,just see who makes it and who dosent..... lifes a *****

decapsulated eggs are orange


I could never get decapsulated eggs to hatch, but mine was self decapsulated and i think i may have gone overboard on the bleach lol..


If they are decapsualted ones, they will probably hatch within 16 hours as no shells are on them and the bbs dont have to fight to get throgh them..


Keep me updated on if they do

lets face it if you cant do it what chance have i got,ok will give it a go anyway,maybe....ill be lucky.. off to lfs again

the brine shrimp eggs i buy are just normal (not decapsulated) they are brown, apparently the ones i get u can decapsualte them but when i tried they never hatched, so i just use them as normal now and hatch them normal (i dont dicapsualate them)

Nothing for you to worry about has yours are already done

well it never worked the first time, so fingers crossed for this go, done them about 12,00 so what time tommorow shall i check them?
