My Fishy Tanks

My 55 gallon which houses tetras, peaceful cichlids, cories and loaches mostly:

My 50 gallon which houses bloodparrots, jellybeans, a few yo-yo loaches and a betta pugnax:

And my 5 1/2 gallon whos inhabitant is a betta:

Missing in action: 20 gallon long, home of 2 goldies and a weather/dojo loach. It looks like crap right now so I will post pics once I redecorate it.

id say a background would make your tanks look even better tho. especially the first one.

really nice anks but in my opinion a simple black or blue back ground would transfom them even more

why not put in a shoal of 4-5 panda cories in with the betta

vancouver- Thanks. I actually didn't want the jellybeans but they had been at the store I work at forever and nobody wanted them, same story with the parrots. Somebody had specail ordered them in and they never came to pick them up! So we were stuck with them, nobody wanted them because 2 are tailess and the big guy is dyed a bit (yuck) so I took them home They are awesome fish though, lots of personality.

SamUK & debiasir- Thanks But where can you find a black or blue plain background? I can only find the ones with silly plants/fish/rocks on it.

Gankutsuou - Well I have no luck in keeping them alive, everyone we have gotten in at work has died! And then I would have to add a filter and I don't think Mr.Betta would like that lol.

i just used bin bags without unfolding them. works great and its free!

well it is if you live with your parents lol.

They usually have black backgrounds in petsmart.
