You could up the number of bloodfins to 6 and the number of Serpaes to 6. Also, Algae Eater looks like a pictus.

Hey thanks man....yea i forgot the name of my algae eater. if i add that many bloodfins and Serpae Tetra do you think they might get aggressive in a 10g tank

Hi hate to tell you but thats quite a bad mix of fish to be fair. Lets start with the tetras, what would be best to do is get rid of the serpae as they have a reputation of getting very nippy and will bite the fishes tails. So I would take back the serpae and then add 4 more Bloodfins, tetras are schooling fish and in the wild they lives in groups of hundreds how ever in aquariums we can not match that so the recommended minimum is about 6 though idealy I would suggest 12 in larger tanks.

With the algae eater, as said that is a pictus catfish. These grow to 6 inches and are a very active fish that need to be kept in groups of at least three. However this is quite an unsuitable fish for your tank so again hate to say it but maybe rehome it. An alternative to these could be cory catfish in particular the pygmy types have a google of pygmy cory catfish and see what you think :)

With the Molly arguably they can work in a 10g but again with a potential max size of 4 inches or more its not particularly fair in my opinion to keep it in such a small tank. A good alternative to mollies for smaller tanks are platies, Though again in a small tank I would keep just females as you wont have to deal with the babies because that will affect your bioload on the tank and in a small tank you dont have room for 30-50 fry at this point.

So perhaps after a big of a juggle you could have.

2 Female Mollies (these come in all different colours so you get a good choice)
6 Bloodfin Tetras (in the bigger schools they will become much more active and the group looks fantastic)
6 Pygmy Cories (a slightly bigger school will make them more confident and in turn much more active)

This stocking works because you have activity at all levels. You have 2 medium fish in there which will produce the most waste but then you have 2 groups of fish that will create equal amounts but will be over all happier in the groups so it balances its self out. The tank will need regular cleaning as you will be at the top of your stocking limit so weekly water changes :good:

Sorry its bad new but hope it helps
Wills :)

hey thanks for in ideas guys. unfortunately i cant remove any fish for now i have no where 2 put them and i cant return them cuz ive had them for a year. i guess i just have 2 wait lol :) thank you

If you live in Hull or East Yorkshire ill take your pim ;)

I understand your situation, but if you took your fish back you would be able to get store credit for them, I think it would be worth doing it but its your choice :)

You might find your bloodfins dissapearing as your pictus grows.
