I'm moving long distance this summer and was very worried about some of my tropicals that I've had "forever". I had a home for some of my guppies and 3 blacklight neons. My mom in law will take them as I gave her my little 10 gallon. She's a huge beginner so I didn't want to give her my Powder blue dwarf Gourami, or my pleco. These 2 are my favorites, and I know they couldn't possibly survive in a 10 g for very long.

My girlfriend mentioned her neighbour being a big fish fanatic. He has 3 tanks and a betta tank as well. So we spoke, and he's all excited to be getting new fish. He'll be adopting the Gourami, the pleco, 2 white skirt tetras, 1 lemon tetra, 1 platie, and several guppies.

He's even going to get an unused tank out and ready for them.... wow, their own home! It's only a 20g but heck, much better than having to bring them to a fishstore where they sell to anyone who wants fish. I KNOW this guy likes and cares for his fish.... what a relief! Some of these fish have formed a fishybond that they won't have to break, and they all know each other, nice to know most get to stay together.
