If I put my hand or a finger in my comet tank, they'll swim over and suckle/nibble on my skin, it kind of tickles. I am too afraid to let my betta get anywhere near my hand though.. I've heard they have a strong grip.

We have 5 piranha's and bettas do have a strong grip but it doesn't hurt!

Because i've always hand fed my betta he doesn't eat the food if i just sprinkle some in!

That's so cool,
if i leave my finger at the water line my guppies have a couple of nibbles, i'm trying to train them to though cos i like it, and they get fed after.
I suppose i'm training them for selfish reasons but it feels nice

Ps: how do you feed them from your hand exactly

I hold a flake one at a time between my thumb and a finger and dangle it in the water, sometimes i make him chase it!

firemouths have a good bite when there breeding, but then again arowanas and oscars also have good bite when there feeding and i don't want to find out what Cookies bite is like.

should be interesting if my new moray bites me, they got some power behind that jaw!
