Fish Crazy
In 33 gallons I wouldn't go with yoyo loaches either, though the zebra, zipper or dwarf chain loaches would be fine in a group of four or more.
I'd take the gouramis back as they get to about 6 inches and are likely the problem in your tank. Even if they aren't the guppy killers, you can't keep these guys in your tank, get them out and plan to replace them with a different gourami later if you'd like. The rainbow fish may also be the nippers, watch them carefully. That would leave you with just the guppies and rainbow fish in your tank.
Before you go adding any more fish to your tank, keep an eye on your water stats with just the guppies and rainbow fish in the tank. Make sure that you get a good liquid test kit for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates, not the dip strips. Ammonia and nitrites should stay at a constant zero once your tank is fully cycled. Once you are certain that your tank is cycled and you have any other problems sorted out, add any new fish slowly, only a few at a time. Also make sure that you research any new additions to your tank before you go out to buy them and plan out your stocking completely.
