Parasiite med kill the adult parasite. You redose a few weeks later to catch fry as they hatch.
Just do a gravel vac and water change no need to strip the whole tank down and stress the fish even further.

The only time you stripped a tank down was in you couldn't get an internal parasite med.
Then if was a waste of time if other fish had them. You had to destroy the fish with the internal parasites.

Why does she have to use pimafix.

Have to agree with Wilder, as long as you use the meds as stated and give the gravel a good vac followed by the repeat treatment no need to strip a tank down.

Many people on this forum used this method with very good results.

i would not be advising to do this if i didnt know what to do i am very knowlagable on fish diseases and have been breeding for many of years all i want to do is help weather its online or in person..........
just have a read back wilder all u did was ask him/her Q's instead of actually giving him/her the answer that he/she was seeking.......

Wilder has been answering posts on this disease forum for the last umpteen years, the post count does not reflect her true postings either, her post count has been reset on numerous occasions due to the amount of help and advice given. All people who have been on this forum for years trust Wilders advice, it is spot on.
I however would not trust your advice. My Opinion.

ordered the med u sugested and did a water change. fish all seam to be ok since first post

Check med instructions as you will need to retreat.
Glad they seem ok.
