i like the slate, but dont you think the edges are kinda sharp? i may be wrong but it looks sharp from here.

I never found them sharp. I didn't make them, they were already like that in the LFS.

I'll take a full tank shot later tonight when the lights right.

Think that once fish are settled in I might start trying putting proper plants in.

Really really nice tank set-up you have there. Just one little thing. Looking at the first full shot those wires leading into your plug socket could do with being moved. I put my 5 pin socket through the back of the stand and plug everything in out of sight, this also create a 'loop' in the wires so that if any water runs down the wires during maintenance or fish splashing about it will just drip off harmlessly and not run into your 5 pin socket or plugs. Apart from that, can't wait to see it stocked!

10 zebra and 1 leopard danio's added this morning

Most of my danios are shoaling together at the back of the tank. Can't even see the shoal.

Then two are swimming right up at the top.

I seem to have lost a fish. Can only count 10, looked everywhere!

So now lil Tiger barbs in as of yesterday.

5 Normal ones, 5 Green.

Them and the danios seem to be getting on well, but the Barbs are taking a while to get their feet and mainly just hide and/or hover near the bottom.

I'm sorry to announce that "fella" the Striped Tiger Barb passed away only a few minutes ago.

Water stats were ok but after about an hour of swimming in circles behaviour he passed away. Can only think that it was the stress of being introduced into his new environment.

The rest are doing fine, but carried out a 25% water change.
