i just dont get my crazy fish, pretty royal blue and pink ct male, with a blue and reddish pink ct gf. in a little crappy tank he will make a nest , just a ok one,, then i set him up in the breeder,, he made a nest the first day and his gf watched till i let her out when she had breeding stripes,, i let her out,, he just lazed around the tank,, like he always dose with other fish and she ended up chasing him all over,, when he started hiding in the plant she tore up the nest then just hid under the heater,, removed her but now he wouldnt make a nest again,, waited 3 days then nothing,, he is such a weenie,, i wonder if he is just too old, he got beat up last time i tryed to breed him too. so i put him adn his gf back in the other tanks to rest and i am trying another set, a tourcoise blue ct male and a bluish grennie female,, she is half ct and then vt,, not the greatest ct but healthy and matches his coloring nice. and what has he done so far? instead making anice nest under the cup he goes nd makes little batches of bubble here and there,, ahhh grrr do it allready i want babies!!! 
my males are right wimps! They make bubble nests to compete with the chap next door, but if they see a feisty girl they run a mile and destroy the nest, and just want their Mum!
