My First Fry

im extremely excited, i just noticed theres 3 guppy fry swimming around in my small tank and i have a bunch of questions now.

how many is she gonna have and how long should it take?
i only have her and 2 corys in there, i know i need to remove the mom when shes done but can the corys stay?
do the fry need certain food?
anything else i need to know?

any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

this is her, shes moving around and eating now but im not sure if shes done. can anyone tell if she still has more to come by this pic?

You really don't need to move mom out when she's done. None of my guppy's (male and female) go after the fry. Corydora's are not a threat either as they are bottom feeders. My guppies usually have between 30-40 fry, but it depends on age. The younger they are, the less they will have. I feed the fry crushed flake, but they also pick at algae on the plastic plants. And just so you don't wonder, the colour starts to show on my fry at about a month of age, and they will be sexually mature at about 3 months of age (but still rather small). Judging by your picture, she may have a few more to go. But they usually don't eat while giving birth, and not for an hour or so after they are done as well. The fry are not hard to raise, just remember they are now adding to the bioload of your tank, so stay on top of your water quality. Congrats and good luck!

I would put her in a breeding trap, mine had on average 78 babies each, and they DO go after them for lunch
 
The corydora's will NOT go after them
 
How did she get pregnant if it's only her and 2 cory's in the tank?

i had her in one of my other tanks til she got pregnant then moved her over until she had em

she only had 4 fry. i left her in overnight to make sure and was still only four when i woke up. but theyre eating the flake powder and seem to be doin alright
