Thought I'd show you a few snapshots of the first batch of fry I raised. They're about 6 months old now. I fear they might be too small for their age, but I still love them. I got them for free from Petco back in November. I saw them hiding amongst some fake plants in the all female guppy tank. I politely asked the guy if they raise the baby fry. He told me they did, but said I could have them. I didn't have any fry at home, so I was delighted to be "adopting" them. All 6 fry are happy and healthy but there are 2 that are my favorites. My first favorite developed earlier than the rest. He had a little mishap recently when his tail was nipped off a little by another fish. It's growing back slowly but surely. I haven't picked a name for him yet. I was thinking something like sunburst?

This little guy is my recent favorite. I LOVE his color, his tail is top orange, bottom yellow. And he's got just a little bit of magenta and light blue on his body near his tail. He is just beautiful. I was thinking his name should be starburst because his tail reminds me of the lemon and orange flavors. lol

And this guy is a little bit of everything. I like him just because he looks like a mutt; a guppy with too many traits. Its really hard not to notice him. He's mostly yellow with black edges around the rim of his tail. Wondering what he'll look like in a year.
