My first ever fish has died :(

I brought 2 paradise fish and put them togeather yesterday only to find out there not to be in the same tank as eash other, one of them was really agressive and was attacking all other fish in the tank really bad so i took him out and put him in with my white Sailfin molly in the 20g, all seemed to be fine and they didnt bother each other, but when i came home i found my molly upside down on the gravel struggleing to breath and all ripped up, i then seen the paradise fish bite him a couple of more times, i lost my temper so bad because it was my first fish and i loved him! i will miss him so much cause every morning when i got ready for work in the spare room he was at the front of the tank to greet me and every night when i came home he was still there..

Good bye mate i will miss you heaps :-(

PS: that damn paradise fish now rests in my oscars tummy :grr:

That was mean!

Your fault and you take it out on the fish.

You probably didn't get it from Petsmart or some other reputable dealer because they have signs that say these fish should be kept in species tanks...

You wasted a great deal of money feeding that fish.

Sorry for your loss, but you have to take some of the responsibility mate.

I'm very sad to hear about your lose. Fish are great, but sometimes they can be more stress than fun. Here is some info on the Paradise Fish. It seems to fit what you just said here

They look a lot like betta's and act somewhat like them too.
