My First Christmas Present

This was very sweet of my homestay student but i kind of wished she had gotten me a gift certificate instead.
So it's 4:30 in the morning and she gave them to me 30 minutes ago.
2 Bala Sharks and the poor guys have been in the bag for .... 7 hours!
I really hope they'll be ok. Bala's are not my first choice. I have a big tank - 7ft- 96G but genereally speaking, it's as stocked as i would like it to be. it's heavily planted, which makes it look more full than it actually is. But anyway, forgive me, i'm still half asleep and pretty darn shocked that i was woken up to be given 2 live fish.
everyone at my house is asleep so i had to tell someone!
so with that said...i'm going back to sleep.

i've decided i'm going to keep them - they won't grow huge overnight and by the time they're really big i'm going to have my large cichlid tank which i've read bala's do very well with. So i'll have an oscar and jack dempsey and 2 bala's together.

well its only jus gone 9.30pm here in the UK and since getting home from work at 6 (yea that sucked) ive washed a shed load of gravel, cleaned filters and heaters and moved furniture so that when i wake up i can bring my new tank in and have all the fun parts.

didnt fancy freezing my arse off in the morning trying to get the gravel clean outside!

I'm expecting to make a few trip to the petstore this week, my friends are obsessed with giving me fish..
And now that I have my 55G they think anything can fit into it!
