He is very pretty and looks to be in very decent condition. There is a little fin damage but nothing severe. Clean water should sort it out in no time. In the 1 gal just make sure you are doing at least %50 waterchanges every 2-3 days if there is no filter. Every 5-7 days if there is a CYCLED filter. You can feed every other day to cut down on ammonia. He will be fine with every other day feedings. And keep the temp appropriate with heater.
Lovely new boy :look:
cheers

I don't need heater this time of the year outside temp is about 28 C, i'll be moving him in a few days.

Very nice!

I'm sure he'll have a great home. :D

very nice betta you got there, hopfully he will allow some friends in the 20gal, what are you planning on adding with him?

I have change plans, cause putting the betta in the 20 gallon will limit what i can put in, and they are gonna be 2 20 gallon connected by and aqua bridge, and is to much water to spend on my betta and a few friends.

What i'm gonna do is build him his tank with a 2.5 gallon, is a iwagami style fish tank suitable for betta??

Rather off topic but how the hell does an aqua bridge work?

Simple when you have air inside the bridge water can't go in, cause air push water down, if you take the air out this work like siphon and swallow water in, after water fill the bridge the water in the tank work like a seal to the water over it, and given that both tank are leveled, gravity do the rest keeping the water up in the bridge.

I'm doing this cause this 2 tanks are going in my office, i'm a civil engineer and have a contractor office, so a bridge in my office is some kind of presentation card, my company logo will be in the background of one of the tanks and the company name in the other, both connected with the aqua bridge and one of then will have a open bottom tank inside something like a building, this might not get my any clients but might impress then.

I see, I've never actually heard of them before. They sound rather strange but I'm sure they look great. :good:

Change of plans, i could find a 2.5 gallon tank for the betta, so i'll be getting a 5 gallon tank, so he will be more happy.
