My Firemouths Eye????

his right eye the lens around the eye seems bubbled out more then the lens on his left eye. now he eats normally, he doesnt have any signs of external problems and his scales look fine and he has nice color. could this be just a deformity on his eye lens or something else please let me know.

Also what are your water readings? Just by reading your sig and the fish you have in your 75gal, you might be a bit overstocked (when adult atleast ) and must get dirty quite quickly with 2 messy commons in there ....Poor water quality will stress fish and make them susceptable to disease.

well i have 2 ac 300's and a rena xp 2 for filtration, i do water changes every 3 days about 30%. ill test the water tonight and post the readings.

i know im a newbe but I have been take ing care of fish for some years know and u should try removing some of those barbs and do fewer water changes try like 25% a week so u can let the (good) bacteria build up . and the eye could be a birth defect like 1 of my pirahnas has a smaller pupil on one side.

PS. what do u feed them
