Why would you need a male?
Sometimes they just change colour, when did the redness start? Where is it?

sorry no pics I got it about a mouth ago it was abit red and it just kept on getting reder

Female bettas are independent and do not need to rely on a guy to get by. In fact, they're better off without them lol

well, i know with some bettas, as they mature there colouring gets more distinctive, this may be happening with your betta.

well, i know with some bettas, as they mature there colouring gets more distinctive, this may be happening with your betta.

Either that or it's a marble, a photo will be great in helping us decide the colour change will be nothing to do with whether she needs a mate though.

that dosnt evan make scence they like other females as compony but not males so your sating if what you write was sarcastic your saying they rely on a guy. which they dont because they will fight and one will get seriously injered or killed
