My pigeon blood (my first discus) was just too aggressive towards my others. I thought upping the numbers to four would help but it didn't and I cant do any more than four at this point in time. So I called my friend and asked if I could trade him in for another one and thats what I did. I was there for 2 hours trying to decide and say goodbye. My pb was BEAUTIFUL. I'm going to miss him!!!

Here is a pic of the pb I took yesterday... bye bye PB!!! :-(

Red Rio, Blue Turq and new Solid Yellow Thai that I traded for my PB

Aggression is definitely cut down. They seem much happier with the PB gone. I miss him tho!

Lovely fish AmberC :kewlpics:

I'm still undecided on whether to get some Discus or to go for Rams & Kribs.

(I do however have a new 4ft tank coming on Monday )

Thank you

Why dont you just do rams and discus? Thats what I've got lol

Amber i can see why you loved the pigeon blood so much, he was amazing.. it is unusual that upping the numbers to 4 did'nt do anything, must of been his temprement  but atleast you got a great new one!

Oh, i don't know :/

I'm like a kid in a candy store :D . I want some colour in my community tank so i've narrowed it down to Rams, Kribs, Discus or other Cichlids but i'm not sure what to do. I would like to get into breeding Discus so i might set up a species only tank with the 4ft.

Discus are quite expensive down here, cheapest i've seen are £20 each and the most expensive are £95!, so i don't want to screw up and lose any.

woo i love that blue and redish colord one.. i nominated it but i dont know if anyone has 2nded it yet

Thanks everyone. I got the Red Rio for $39.99 and my lfs most expensive one is $59.00. which seems to be what they are around here. It varies by color and size. All seems well in my tank so far. Thanks for your compliments.
