My Dalmatian Molly Just Had Fry 2 Days Ago Got Some Questions

first how long until i can move them into my 10 gallon tank with the mom where they will be to big for her to eat. second i also have a 20 gallon with 3 gold gourami and i was considering putting a couple of the fry in there to see if they can maybe survive but before i do any of that i need to know how long before i should try to move them to the bigger tanks from the 2.5 gallon they are in because i dont want to put them into shock by moving them to early so any answers the faster the better

I don't know if there is a specific amount of time you should wait but rather to keep them in there until they are bigger than the fishes mouth or if you cant wait that long put them in there and just have lots of places for them to hide so they can get away form the other big fish.

haha alright ya i think i need to wait i was just trying to see if it would be a week or what ya know cuz the molly did have about 5 in the 10 gallon tank after i took her out of the 2.5 after she had like 20 and those 5 didnt survive past the first night they werent eaten though but i dont know why they died

I'd leave them in the tank where they were born with lots of plant coverage. Fry are pretty good at hiding from bigger fish and those that aren't probably wouldn't have made healthy adults anyway. The ones that survive will be faster and fitter

i tried putting them in the 20 i started with 3 and they didnt even last 5 minutes before the other fish ate them mainly because they wouldnt swim down to cover
