One of the easiest species of all fish to breed in the home aquarium is the common bristlenose which once a pair has been established will produce brood after brood. Rarely, or never occurred in human aquaria. They're said to dig burrows in river banks to breed.

That's H. plecostomus mind you, plenty of people breed bristlenoses.
