My Common Plec Has Just Give Birth

One of the easiest species of all fish to breed in the home aquarium is the common bristlenose which once a pair has been established will produce brood after brood. Many of the smaller L number species have also been bred in captivity including the highly desirable zebra plec. Larger species such as the common plec and gibiceps plec are reared in large dirt ponds in Asia and South America both for eating and the aquarium trade.

thought so, plecs dont give birth they lay eggs!!!!

cool do they, is it rare that they lay eggs cause ive never herd of it before,

Rarely, or never occurred in human aquaria. They're said to dig burrows in river banks to breed.

That's H. plecostomus mind you, plenty of people breed bristlenoses.
