I have 5 of these fellas and I'm waiting for them to pair up, then I can give the rest to my mate and hopefully watch them spawn

They are about 6inches long at the moment

they're quite low about 20 or so, I haven;t checked temp for a good while but it was set low in te winter although it will warm up naturally as it gets wrmer outside

my mates offered me 4 assiata today, I saw them at his house the other day and a pair has formed, they are gorgeous but I don;t have tank space really!!! bummer!!!

seeing as the theme to her moaning yesterday was Ispend more time and money on fish than her or kids I don;t think that;ll be such a good idea!1 lol

On Sunday she came in the garage and said "are the fish alright" and walked back into house. I knew then I was in dog house!!! I;d been doing that for 2 hours and kids had made the house into a tip!! lol

lol funny enough I got a little tank with 30 baby egyptian mouthbreeders in, I netted the female and got the young that way, so far so good they've been out of her mouth 9 days and she had carried them for a couple of weeks

Great looking Channa!

I have a few of these little guys, they are still young, but their mother is about 12" and very very thick. Hope mine (and yours) turn out the same!
