My Cardinal Tetras amongst plants

Just thought I'd share a recent pic of my Cardinals in my heavily planted 34 gallon.

For any Practical Fishkeeping (UK) readers out there, they've printed my comment about why I voted for Cardinals tetras as my favourite fish in their latest issue (Christmas 2004). The Cardinals appear in 9th place out of 100 (Clown Loach was no.1 BTW).

Beautiful as always Your tanks always amaze me. So...why are cardinals your favorite fish?

Thanks. Why? - Because they're so colourful, peaceful, mesmerising, contrast so well with the plants and look awesome when in a tight shoal.

The larger WHSmith stores stock them, I know the one in Peterborough does. I don't have any problem as I subscribe, it works out much cheaper too.

Ive been to my local Whsmiths in wellingborough, to the one in Northampton and to the one in Milton Keynes..

Gf have you traded in your Angels yet or are they still with you?

Nitro - I've still got the Angels. I'm having trouble convincing the wife that they'd be better off out of my tank. She's got a point; if they get sold on they may end up worse off.

i love cardinals as well but i've only seen them once and they were a bit pricey
