My Brothers Tank

finally got this thing set up and with fish!
it's been running 2 months, to cycle and then he moved house.
i was looking after 3/4 of the tank mates
and added 3 more over the weekend.

there are 11 neon tetras, 3 albino corys (wacko, yacko and dot) and a german blue ram pair (he's named them Sid (Fishous) and Susy)
all fake plants + real bogwood.

it's approx 15/16 gallons. might be pushing stocking a little, all but the neons aren't full size yet
will see how we get on.

Ypu're right about the stocking, but that's a great tank, and a great choice of fish. I really like it!

he can always cut down to a group of 6 neons if it does start to cause trouble.

Nice tank! Be careful about algae though, in non-planted tanks its very easy to get algae blooms in them especially when they are new- make sure he doesn't leave the tank lights on too much.

no more fish, overstocked as it is really!
it looks fairly empty from the pictures, but when you sit there and watch it the corys are always zipping around and the neons are everywhere! especially at feeding time.

when i last saw it when they were settling in the corys and rams were fine, except that whenever the rams decided to try and chill out somewhere you can take bets on the fact a cory would head butt his way in there!

Tell your brother great tank looms much bigger than 16Gal though!

yeah looks much bigger than 15g, i have a 15g which looks much smaller than yours, looks like a 20g.
