best thing to feed them IME is hikari first bites but take a glass of tank water out and put the food in there swirl it round then add it that way it doest float and it sinks so the fry can eat it... as for them eating eggs it takes a few times for them to get it right i was lucky mine cracked it first time anbd i have some good fry now half pink and half striped

never listen to LFS they just sell you stuff you dont need always come on places like this for proper advice and good luck with your convicts pal

NIce fry. I wouldn't say NEVER listen to your lfs, as some can be knowlegeable. But most are not. The best food to feed them is BBS ( Baby Brine Shrimp) You can either hatch it ( and they are only REALLY nutritious right after hatching), or buy it frosen ( alot easier, just break a piece of and put it in the tank, most definatley better then Hikari First Bites).
I ran out of BBS and had to get some Hikari First Bites, and they work pretty good, but nothing compared to BBS. BBS have a very high Protien consitancy, and that is what makes your fry grow. Also, your fry wont start eating till they are free-swimming.

oo think i might try the BBS where can you get it from and also i need em to grow quicker as i want my 25gal free so i re-due it
