I just had to tell someone who cared! Interesting to see the female sort of hovering over them. She chases the corys a bit but is not at all vicious. When should I expect fry? I'm so excited that I lucked into a male female pair... that was pure dumb luck on my part. I got both about 4 months ago at about 1 inch or so. The male grew much faster and colored up much more quickly. The female stayed drab until the last moment. I knew something was up when the female started holding her ground with the male who was really into harassing her and chasing her. This is their first.... litter? school? family? Will they eat their own fry? If I have danios and neons will these eat fry?

Any way just had to share.
:D

2-3 days to hatch depending on temperature of water. I usually call the group of eggs a spawn or clutch and the fish any of wrigglers, fry or brood. There's a chance they may eat their own young but it lessens the more times they spawn. The neons and danios may try to eat the fry but the adult bolivians should be able to keep them from getting too many.
