ok here are some recent shots of my blackwater set up;

Decoration 1 small piece of Mopani wood, 1 piece fake wood, 1 piece slate. Various plants
Substrate Pool filter sand.
Filtration 1x Fluval 4+, 2X tricklefilter each rated @ 1200L/H
Hardware 1x Climate 300W heater, 2X 30W T8 tropical. 1x AC9022 running 12" airstone. 1x 8 moonlight LED
Stock 5x Barbus tetrazona, 4x Pterophyllum scalare, 3x Hemigrammus caudovittatus, 10x Paracheirodon axelrodi, 10x Paracheirodon innesi (Leucistic) 10x Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi(1 albino), 17x Hemigrammus erythrozonus, 1x Corydoras melini, 3x Corydoras aeneus(albino), 3x Corydoras adolfoi, 2x Brochis splendens 2x Kryptopterus bicirrhis(yes I know they prefer groups, but can't find anymore locally) 2x Atyopsis spinipes.

looks good, your pool filter sand looks a lot darker then mine.... nice looking tank though i like it a lot.
