Spent some time today making my BiUbe a bit of a better habitat for my little ones
after rehoming 6 of my young guppies at the weekend (although i need to re home one more
as i managed to leave myself with 3 males and 1 female and already she's getting picked on)
I replaced them with 2 galaxy rasboras and 2 otocinclus - I am on the look out for a couple more galaxy's
but my lfs's are all out seems i had the last 2!

anyway here's how its looking.... all comments welcome, am looking into chaning the lighting

You don't appear to have much algae?
What are you feeding the otos, are they taking manufactured foods?

Am putting in algae discs but they have shown no intered in them as yet... but its only been 4 days with the otos

its amazing the diff in the tank already!! they really are excellent little caretakers!

Certainly are, excellent little fish.
Not to be a doomsayer but be careful, otos are notoriously difficult to wean onto manufactured foods or even veg.
Many people have had their otos die after all algae has been eaten.
I'd try adding some courgette as well and seeing if they take to that.
Sorry if i sound a bit ominous but thought you were best off informed ASAP......

already been told to watch them like a hawk!
they are munching the plants though !! the taller one at the front was twice that size pre oto!!!

will get them some cougette... but they may have to fight the guppies for it lol

nice biUbe.

i've gone one coming any day now.

just curious, as i have baby biOrb and megabiOrb, the light on the lid is not to be submersed in the water. i see that your light is. also, it was recommended to not have the water surface line more than 1-1.5 inches above the bubble tube. so i wonder if these are differences in the biOrbs and the biUbe.

can't wait to get mine though!
