I use the bike for my commute, doing around 400 miles a week, and recently replaced my YZF600R ThunderCat with this:

It is a (year 2000) CBR929RRY FireBlade. 130bhp in a bike that weighs only slightly more than my right testicle...... B) 8) 8) B)

Faster acceleration but I doubt it's faster at top end, but (forgive me for saying this), a bit of both is always good!

..could well be.....

..accelleration is where it is at on my commute into London though.. ...next time I change the chain and sprockets I am going for a slightly smaller sprocket on the front which will give even better acceleration at the expense of dropping the top end down to 160 from around 180..

160 is enough anyway, i'd kill myself going at 60, nevermind 160! Depends what the types of races are, depends what is better. Circuit courses, top speed would probably be better, whereas drag races/short races acceleration would win all the way.

lol, thats so true, an 84 would also strugle to hit 135mph.
i know she has hard suspension but its a great car to drive, almost like a go cart. infact you would be suprised at how well it handles. donna .
